Bulky Bow Arm Sleeve

#1 Post by little arrows » Sun Mar 07, 2010 8:12 pm

Hi All.

When I was at the Lilydale shoot last year, shooting in my raincoat and thermals, my bow arm became rather bulky with clothing. A half dozen elastic bands got me through the shoot, however something more permanent was required, so I have come up with this little idea. You can wear whatever you like and the sleeve just slides over and holds everything a little tighter without cutting off the blood supply.....
They are made from the same stretchy material as my bow limb socks, are fully washable and at the momemt come in various shades of hand dyed camo green or brown, and will be $10.
If anyone is interested in one, please contact me via ozbow or email swallace@spiderweb.com.au

cheers

Looks good. I'll take one. PM sent.

It's the forests where silence has lease;
It's the beauty that thrills me with wonder,
It's the stillness that fills me with peace.

I just got my sleeve, and it sure will do the trick. I'm very happy with it.

well, that might work... but, have you ever walked through the bush in a pair of stockings?? you would probably go through a dozen in a weekend ;-) & they wouldn't look half as pretty!!
