WTB a kayak
Hello fellow Bow Hunters.
I'm looking at buying a lightweight kayak for fishing. Something like the Bass.
As I live in the Blue mountains in NSW (Sydney) it would need to be fairly close by
Oh and cheap really cheap.
A canoe could work also.
Thanks Mark

Re: WTB a kayak
I was looking at the BIC range, some great fishing kayaks but they are a bit pricey, i saw a decent one in BCF the other day for $200 i think.
Cheers, Toby

Theres a real cheap one in bcf around $300 but its more like a raft Would be slow but stable. I `bought one second hand from a chap on australian kayak fishing forum for $600, its a anaconda one. Couldnt be more happy with it, perfect for fishing. www.akff.com.au i think

Be sure to show us how you've fitted them out TEX and some photos of them in action would be great too.
It's funny how traditional archers often share the same interests. I know for a fact that we have many keen kayakers and canoeists on this site. It must be something about their basic simplicity or something.
Flyfishing is another very common, common interest too, I believe.
I know I love doing both of the above activities.

There is no use focusing on aiming if you don't execute the shot well enough to hit what your are aiming at.

Fly fishing is something that I really enjoy as well.
I couldn't agree more about simplicity. I think it has something to do with escaping the complications of this world which is getting more and more complicated as time moves on. Why do people get hung up on gadgets. Give me the bush with a fishing hole nice big tree to sit under whilst I watch the float gently bob up and down, a camp fire and a dry bed and good port and I am happy.
