I've just received some of Mark's Aussie made brass points in the mail today. I was keen to try some of the heavier brass points in an effort to get better arrow flight.

The points look fantastic! I was half expecting to see some roughly machined and roughly weighted points, but they were completely the opposite. They're beautifully finished with a very nicely machined pointed shape.

I popped a couple on my scales and they each weighed exactly 160 grains. 8)

So, if you're interested in buying some of these Aussie made points, don't hold back. They're everything you could hope for. And no, I don't have any financial links to Mark's Trad Bits, in fact, I don't even get a discount. :D I just want to see fellow archers reap the benefits of a great locally manufactured article.

Well done Mark!

Mick
There is no use focusing on aiming if you don't execute the shot well enough to hit what your are aiming at.

I cannot agree more....

These points look fantastic.... I weighted these 160 grain points up another 30 grains for a total weight of 190 grains...

Practiced with them today and they flew great..

Thanks again Mark for another great product..

Cheers Guy.. :D

Believe me he has tried to get discount and all Ill give him is a hard time.

The company that makes these for us where told they had to be better made that the ones we where importing and the price had to be cheaper. Both of these things they did. We have found out of all the points we have check so far that they are + or - 1/2 grain of the target weight.

The 11/32 125 gains are due here at the end of the week.

The feed back to these points has been very good so far so we are now looking at other sizes in brass and maybe steel points very soon.
For the steel points what shape would you all like to see Eg.Bullet nose like the brass points or the standard field point shape.

Well there's no rabbits, pigs, goats or deer around here and I've blown the fox whistle until I am blue in the face to no result BUT something is scratching around the place at night and carefully avoiding the garlic patch ... nothing from Mr. Rudd for me I'm afraid, so I shall have to melt down the family silver (one egg cup) and make my own I suppose. Might get one bullet head tip from it. Might be a werewallaby. I wonder if they are a protected species?

Jape, just get a tax return in and your qualified for the payment. Even if you have paid no taxes (say if your on welfare) you still qualify as long as you have lodged a tax return by June 30, cool?
Lately, if life were treating me any better, I'd be suspicious of it's motives!

I think you are wrong on that one Craig as I believe you have to have paid tax to be eligible. That's the reason pensioners without any other income don't get the payment.

People on Centrelink Payments do pay tax on their money, though.
I thought that the pensioners didn't get any because they already got some.

I don't see why you'd lodge a tax return if you didn't pay any tax.
