Well the day has come that this thing called bowhunting starts to encroach on the rest of my loves
This is a Shimano Calcutta 700, overhead reel. It is in almost 100% condition, there is a small amount of cosmetic wear on the left side plate from only general travel and transport. It has been serviced prior to this post with all gearing and spool internals in mint condition.
This reel is the largest model in the Calcutta range, for use from casting big live baits and lures, to trolling, and through to use in land based game.
I love this reel, but I have only used it minimally since I moved.
It is undoubtably one of the hardiest level wind reels in it's size and calibre.
It is fully machine spooled with 30lb gelspun which has only seen boat use once, and per spool the line alone would cost $70 minimum.
New, the reel cost me nearly $420+ not long ago.
In it's condition and spooled as is I am asking $380 plus postage. A "reel"
