good to see someone else keeping him on his toes for a change, I says...
btw, I just saw this too, but then I'm a Mexican, so you have to make allowances...
(p.s. for pc American readers, Mexican as in Victorian, one of the 'Southern' OZ states)
Erron (mama tole me not to go see Brokeback Mountain!) but honest and for true not pc, Adams

Best quote I have come across re: Brokeback Mountain........Erron (mama tole me not to go see Brokeback Mountain!) but honest and for true not pc, Adams
(in your best redneck, yokel, Southerner accent.......)
"There ain't no queer in cowboy, and I don't care for anyone sayin there is."
I not concerned with any ones sexual persuasion, but to hear the guy say that and mean it in a thick redneck accent...............
I don't care who ya are, that's funny right there!
Git R Done!!

Clingish,
I just got a pencil sharpener type tool and did both ends of an old shaft. Then I held the tapered edge against my sanding disc and marked where the straight edge of the guide would sit .Then repeated it for the nock end taper
You can see in the pic that there is 2 bits of wood nailed to the board, one is for the point and one is for the nock angle.
There is probably better ways of doing it but this one works for me

Clinlish,
The nock taper is 11.5 degrees and the point taper is 5 degrees. Make sure that your guides are able to be ajusted a little because although all nocks and points are supposed to be of the standard taper they are not. You will have to fine tune your tapering machine so your nocks and points fit snugly.
