Hello Hellier

Welcome to Ozbow! Good luck with your return to archery.

Mick
There is no use focusing on aiming if you don't execute the shot well enough to hit what your are aiming at.

G'Day,

Send Patch a PM. I am sure he will sort you out. From what I have heard, he is a good guy to deal with.

That being said, there's nothing like a bow you have made yourself...

G'day Hellier
Welcome mate ,glad to hear your getting back into archery

Patch should be able to help if not others that read this post may drop in a suggestion or a bow for sale
When you say you would build one by this you mean a self bow or a laminated bow?
cheers

Townsville is a fair hike...but Mackay is nearer and it's got an archery centre...so I'm still looking in that regard and maybe I can try before I buy too....but as for making one it'd be a self bow to start with...just have to see how I go...I want to join a bow making class...we'll see if it gets off the ground yet...hope so, but either way if anyone's got an old bow and a few arrows sitting around I'd be happy to consider them...Thanks Guys...
