For anyone who is interested i am selling 3 left hand Border recurves as follows:

55# @ 28, 62"
Shedua riser with black limbs (dacron)
$650.00

2. Border Black Douglas Swift Takedown
60# @ 28, 60" with buff horn overlays and tips
Rosewood and shedua riser with black XP10 carbon limbs (fastflight)
$980.00

3. Border Black Douglas Ultra Takedown

It is difficult for me to sell the bows however there is only so much room on the shelf and another longbow i have on order needs some funding. I will post some pictures of the bows when i get the software for my camera back in a day or so.

Regards

For all you lefties that aren't aware, these are top quality bows at a good price, if you want something that you will be shoot'n for the rest of your days, spend some bucks on one of these, they don't come around too often. NO... I ain't his agent, don't even know the man, just that IMHO Border are one of the top five bows on the market :)

Matt, you can still get one of these, you'll just have to shoot in the East Asian style, with a thumb release and the arrow rest on the right hand side of the bow.

I kid you not, that's how it's done.

Border Recurves for Sale

Axe,
Thanks for your comments on the prices and the quality of the Border bows. Each of these bows are an absolute joy to shoot in their own right not too mention a stack of memories and great fun ahead. Too be honoust i quietly hope they dont all sell but another new Border longbow order last week and no work at present doesn't quite add up  so its a reluctant attempt to try and balance the books.
Hope to get the pics on tomorrow.

By the looks of those file names mate, sounds like you might be an arborist. Is this the case?

I love the "Ultra" too. The others ain't bad either. Obviously very high quality stuff.
There is no use focusing on aiming if you don't execute the shot well enough to hit what your are aiming at.

Close on the arborist - actually have been in commercial landscaping for the last 10 years and the CD i used had some old work pictures.
Sorry they are all left hand bows guys - its usually the left handers (eyes) that have the trouble finding nice 2nd hand bows to look at.

I will post some pics of the other Border bows i am hanging onto in a different thread when i get the chance.
