Bow RAFFLE - Proposal

#1 Post by Axe » Thu Apr 14, 2005 6:14 pm

G'Day ALL,
Below is a proposal I put Erron, no probs with him, suggest I run it past the members, please let me know of interest, here is what I sent to Erron.
G'Day Erron,
Like to float something by you & other Admin members. You may be aware that I have some bows for sale in OZ Trading Post. My proposal is:
EG- I am asking $450 for the "Groves" so if acceptable I/We would sell 45 tickets/numbers, first in best dressed (1 in 45 good odds?) @ $10 each. The winner gets a good win, others only drop $10. OZBOW take 10 - 15% I get remainder, and post bow. Drawer of ticket/numbers to be decided by OZBOW.
The other bows:
Woomera L/Bow - $350 - 35 tickets
Bear " A" T/D Recurve - $1000 - 100 tickets(this bow bought last month - shot 10arras- $900US)
Or 180 tickets @ $10, WINNER TAKES PICK, 2ND NEXT PICK, 3RD TAKES WHAT'S LEFT'.
If this is acceptable saves me further advertising & OZBOW makes some bucks.
Happy to discuss any other option Admin comes up with. :) :?[/b]
PS- Pics as per my sale OZBOW TRADING POST

Yeah, I'd buy at least a couple of tickets too.

There is no use focusing on aiming if you don't execute the shot well enough to hit what your are aiming at.

Hey, put me in for 2 tickets. Still wonder if you'll get the requisite response, but let's give it a whirl.

It will help hugely if you can post pics of the bows

Cheers,

Erron

Welllll, Thanks for those that have shown an interest, I will leave the thread for a few more days, but I ain't got enough numbers to make it viable, (for any bow) as yet, don't mind dropp'n a few bucks but I will have to advertise outside of the site if it doesn't fly. Erron still happy to give the site some bucks, I'm enjoying my time here! :D

G'day Axe why selling the Bear after such a short time,a bit dissapointed?.Dave from Silver tip bows make after market limbs for the Bears that turn them into real sweet shooters.I'm in for 2 tickets in each. Regards Ron
