For Sale - beautiful hunting knife, never used
Gorgeous hunter with Camel Bone handle that I just recieved and will not use as another hunter I had on order since last year also arrived this week and I like it more.
This is a gorgeous knife and I have only had it a few days so it is new, never been used or sharpened.
5" L6 mix Carbon/Stainless blade, 10" overall of about 3/16" thick. Awesome steel!
Made by Mike Wilson of Wilson Custom Knives in the States, it truly is a peice of work.
I got it at a steal at $220 Aud and will post it anywheres for the same.
If the buyer is not happy, they get a "7 day inspection/not happy/money back" thingy...
More pics can be seen in Cutting Edge here.

Yep Mick it sure looks good.. I'm back here looking at the pics again.
This is not a stainless steel blade but is made from L6 which is a super high quality flexible carbon steel normally only used in band or circular saws in lumber mills. It is apparently notoriously difficult and complex to temper but hardens to RC57 and is particularly good for where the edge may need to be steeled back into shape. Sounds good to me.
I have trouble sharpening stainless steel knives so I have had my eye out for a nice traditional looking knife with a L6 or O1 steel blade. How lucky am I that Guy is willing to part with this little beauty.
