Flatline Raptor for sale - mint condition - SOLD

#1 Post by Mick Smith » Sun Apr 05, 2015 1:18 pm

I've only owned this great bow for a few months. It's a very fast bow that shoots as well as it looks. It has a red tulip oak riser and limbs, bamboo cores and ash fades. It has a draw weight of 41# @ 28 inches and it's a right handed bow.

It doesn't have any marks or scratches on it. There is a slight checking on the riser where it dried out when it was being made, but it's barely noticeable and it doesn't effect performance or the bows longevity at all.

This is around half the price of a new Raptor. I'm selling it to fund the purchase of a new bow.

There is no use focusing on aiming if you don't execute the shot well enough to hit what your are aiming at.

Wow Mick I'm surprised :surprised: but ya gota do what you gota do. I assume you are going down the ILF road.
Just want to let potential buyers know I will transfer the five year warranty to the new owner (from the date on the bow) If they contact me with their details.

Cheers,
Rob.

Why wasn't this posted yesterday, Left Geelong this morning, I would have offered $400 Cash and taken it. Not for me I shoot only ELB's, but I have a Friend who is after one and seeing Robs post. AArgh. Won't be down that way again for at least 4 months. Bugger. Cheers Roadie.

You can't win 'em all Grant. Are you going to be at the Bendigo trad shoot? I plan to be there. It's less than 2 months away.

I just want to stress one thing about this bow. There's absolutely nothing wrong with it. On the contrary, it's probably the fastest bow I've owned for its draw weight. It out shoots my 45# Whip with the same arrows and the Whip is no slouch. It's stable to shoot and it's relatively forgiving of poor releases and small errors of form.

I'm located 20km south west of Geelong, but I could meet any prospective buyers in Geelong. Or alternatively, I could freight the bow to any address at the buyer's expense.

I've tested fired a few Flatliner bows now and the Raptor is my favorite. If I did not need the cash at the moment I would snap this up in a second.

Beautiful bows. Someone is in for a treat.
Cheers

For just an extra $50 I will throw in, an as new Bear recurve bow case. These cases cost nearly $200 to buy new. They're beautifully made with a tough canvas like exterior, while the interior has a luxurious soft long pile finish, with a full length zip. It's designed for 58 inch recurves, so the Raptor is a perfect fit. It's the same colour as the one in the below link.

You can buy the Raptor either with or without the case.
