I've used a courier company in the past mate i.e. TOLL, they do online quotes etc but if you visit one and talk face to face things often work out less expensive, longbows I have compared to a fishing rod in describing how they will be packed.

Others more experienced (read "bow ho's") will have some good options for you I'm sure.

Hi Guys,

I could be wrong but I am sure that Jeff has mentioned using one of the Bus Companies. Greyhound or similar.

Whoever it was mentioned that it was pretty reasonable $$$ and in the right packaging should be fine.

Cheers

Hi Ian

I am in Maryborough Qld and the bow is 56 inches long unstrung but don't worry to much about it sometimes aus post will take it you just have to get the right person, as the only check they have is the person recieving it at the counter and some of them just take anything, but if they wont take it i will send it through toll ipec or something. It shouldn't be to expensive, it's long but it's thin and light.

Yes there is no problem with that I have been shooting it around the comps in Qld for a couple of years now as other members on here can vouch for, some of them may remember me shooting it. I know nutgrass and lbrod have seen it and greybeard asked about it at caboolture when i was shooting the hawkeye  Well i think it was greybeard. And i shoot it at ABA comps to so no problems there.

Hi Dan,
Re my previous post I really am interested in your GP bow particularly now its more in my price range!
My only concern is how would you post/freight it to me in Castle Hill NSW as when I checked again with aust post they keep telling me nothing longer than 105cm.
If we can work the freight / post issue out I would love it!!
Cheers

I will just use the same one that rod was talking about, smartsend, I won't know exactly what it will cost but if you buy it you can have it for $350 plus post which we will call $30 so thats $380 and if it's any more than that I will cover it.

Just a bump - my daughter has the Pilgrim Squirt and it really is a quality little bow. Anyone with a 4-6 year old will love this bow.
