Gundy,

That's good mate. All you need now is the bow to go with it.

Mick.
Those flint broadheads were a lot sharper than steel ones. The reason for using Chamois leather is mostlikely because his primary kills were all some kind of deer and chamois would a lot easier to work with a fish bone or wood needle than cow hide.
I shove an old t-shirt in the bottom of my back quiver to prevent rattles and stop the broadheads from cutting the base of the quiver.

- that's the simplest and probably best solution to the problem I've read :!: 8)

I second... holy crap!

Once you get it I'd like to know how it hangs on your shoulder. Adam has this great quiver which has a cool hanging layout that means it hangs tight against your upper right shoulder - yet also can slide easily under your right armpit when stalking. I'll be really interested in finding out how it goes.

Gents, thank you for those nice words.
And Buford, don't worry about the quiver getting dirty. You purchased it to be used. Leather items only start to look good once they have a few battle scars.
We are very lucky here in Australia, we have premium quality veg. tanned leather so it can withstand a fair beating. Just use some "Dubbin" or similar leather conditioner now and then to keep the leather soft and pliable.
Mate, have fun with your new back quiver and good hunting!

cheers
Erich

You can add my 'holy crap' to the list. That is gorgeous.
Well now then young Buford - a decent bow, you are making decent arrows, you got a kick-ass quiver. Whatever are you going to use as an excuse for missing now? Did I teach you nothing? Sigh.
Seriously - nice purchase ... and Erich, you is da man!
