Bear 'Grizzly' RH recurve bow, REDUCED!!!

#1 Post by gundy » Wed Apr 14, 2004 12:43 am

$390 ono (shipped Australia).

NOW, THIS WEEK ONLY - $250.00

...takes home a fantastic shooting bow. She's #60 at 29" RH and if it were #50 @ 29", I would be keeping it.

Too heavy for me. :?

Please email for pics, or I will try and get some uploaded when I can...

Oh, so you're letting that beauty go? Bummer, still, too heavy is too heavy. :? At 60 lb. it's quite a bit too heavy for me, too.

Still, some bows are so nice you have to own them for a while anyway, huh?

Jeff, i am looking forward to get my hands on the grizzly.
And yes,a beautiful bow must have it's bag.
I'm sure you've heard of the plumber who never gets to fix his own leaky taps? Well that's a bit like I feel sometimes, but hopefully soon I will make a nice bag to compliment the bow.

Cheers

Actually, Jeff is your avatar the picture of a belt buckle? I love that design.
Are they readily available, and if so, where or are you just fortunate to own one? :?:

cheers,

Erich

Eric,

Yes it is a belt buckle and yes they are/should be available soon. I like the design also and have had one for years. MIK has asked about them also and I think they are in the pipeline for sale on Ozbow. Erron may have some info on them in the not to distant future?

:( Well, guess I should be thankful it's gone already....just read this post and went off to check my bows....and budget.
Bow weight is just fine for me - already shooting in that range. Oh well, will just have to be patient.
.....anyway, saving for another Newell Bow, and thinking I'd like to hunt up a Harry Elburg longbow (that's a woman for you - just like the thought of shooting Grizzley broadheads off a bow made by the Grizzley maker).
Back to work girl!
