Lunar Eclipse

#1 Post by GrahameA » Wed Aug 29, 2007 8:55 am

Got home from a meeting last and immediately took a few photos.

Should have gone with a shorter exposure, etc. and whispy clouds do not help.

One of the pics of the eclipsed moon I managed to get

The clouds broke, giving me about 20 seconds. And if I hadn't been looking, I would have missed it. The streaks are the clouds moving at warp speed. 8 second exposure with Lumix DCM-FZ30N, tripod mount.

Interesting shots. The cloud was a bit of a problem alright.

Another one I took

#12 Post by Anysia » Sun Sep 02, 2007 10:06 pm

I wasn't too sure about posting this one, and all I can say I wasn't thinking clearly. I blame that on extreme fatigue. It wasn't centered, and barely in frame. I showed it to Mayland, and luckily his brain was working.

"Just crop it down."
