Hi jeff yes they are pheasants and they are wild birds they come in twice a day at least we also have wild grey leg partridges come in sometimes if I can find it I have a picture of a partridge actually inside the bird table . last november one of them scared the crap out of me at six in the morning went to open the livingroom curtains this thing exploded from the windowsill outside must have decided to roost there cheers hugh
just some more visitors my wife nicknamed the rabbit harry a frigging cat finaly got him ( but I got the cat .22 aspirin ) cheers.

Looks like a lovely spot mate. I'm in Oz these days, miss the green. Your pics grabbed at me.
Maybe it was 'Hugh' that made me think of Wales. I spent a lot of time on Pen y Fan and round about there myself, I was once fit, a bit of a climber, an artist and a walker. Used to walk the hills for days seeing no-one, then sometimes I would wake up surrounded by strange blokes yomping around with face-paint on, one of them were you?

hi jeff yes they are a good bit bigger than quail very tasty but an incredible bird for strength a couple of years ago shot two (shotgun ) went over to pick them up had only stunned the second ?? as i bent down to pick it up it took off hit me in the face that hard it burst my nose had a hard time explaining that one . They are considered to be a top gamebird by many cheers

The two phesants are chinese ringnecks M F .Grey legged partridge????? where in the hell do you live??I would say that someone around your way is setting up for some sort of hunting thing or someone has left the bird cage open.Ilove birds
