Sambar country

Not the best photos, but a couple taken of the river near one of my favourite spots.

My brother took a Sambar hind in this spot with the bow about a month or so ago...

That is a nice looking bit of water there Guy, was they taken very recent or is that area all burnt out from the fires now?

The creek looks like a very tempting spot to set up an ambush.

Mate, the fires did not reach this spot (too damn close however), however these photos were taken before the fires....it is still the same today.
