Sparra, It was taken like that Luke thought that it may not turn out but was pleasantly surprised.

Jape, Horse hair for bows not sure I know it's used for violin bows, as for the feathers any thing is possible.

little feathers there looks like a little "burke parrot" in the grey n blue..

The father-in-law who breads the birds says that the blue/grey is a Princess Split as they are normaly green in colour last year he got an Albino one from the clutch and sold it for $3000.00
