After an overnight stop at Tamworth we met up with some friends at Glen Riddle Reserve for a couple of nights. This place is about 17kms Tamworth side of Barraba. It is on the back waters of the Split Rock dam I believe. It is a beautiful spot but would be hot camping in summer as there is not much in the way of shade. Anyway I took quite a lot of photos here and borrowed my mates 70 - 300 lens to grab some bird photos.

really love this set Jeff, they have a really evocative mood to them. Do you ever throw a line in at some of these very 'fishy' looking places

Thanks fellas.

No Bob I don't. I'm not a fisherman. There were some big fish jumping and swirling around but I think they were carp. They do catch some good fish in there apparently and people were in boats rod fishing and trolling. I never saw any get caught though.bigbob wrote:Do you ever throw a line in at some of these very 'fishy' looking places
