Old Buildings and Scenery

#1 Post by Stickbow Hunter » Tue Oct 08, 2013 11:53 am

North of Bathurst we went up through the old gold mining towns of Sofala, Ilford, Kandos and Rylstone. We really enjoy looking at the old miners cottages and other building. We stayed over night at free camp beside the Ilford Hall.

Me too! I did take quite a few as there are just so many different types of buildings down there.

Thanks Rod.

My folks came from there.
One was a trooper who died in the line of duty in a gun fight with bushrangers attacking a Gold Carriage. He was only awarded recognition a few years ago.

Thanks for the pix.
