Re: Gympie Trad shoot 2013 Pictures
Orientation was right on my computer, I think what happens is windows 8 puts them around the right way on the screen at my end, then when I post them they are back the way they where taken.
I will improve my act next time. In the mean time just tilt your head to the right, even us trad archers can do that. Now which is my right

Hi Mark.
What you will need to do is use some other software - probably the easiest is stuff that came with the camera - to rotate the images through 90deg.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
STOP
Before you do anything with you images back them up on another drive and change their attributes to "Read Only".
And only ever work on some copies that you have made especially for working on.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have faith that your photos will get better .... and you will have lots of memories of great times.
If you are using a Windows product to look at the images you are probably correct in that it is automatically seeting the orientation.Scrub Bull wrote:Orientation was right on my computer, I think what happens is windows 8 puts them around the right way on the screen at my end, then when I post them they are back the way they where taken.

Another suggestion is to just get a Mac and not have to worry about the orientation problem.
