Ay Bob, the machine is called a Moet Perrier, made and owned by some friends from the Adelaide Hills in Sth Aust.
It is 4 mtrs Tall, not sure how much it weighs, all solid timber, mostly Cypress Pine. All the joints are morticed & tenon, and held together with Hard wood Dowells. Can be put up, and taken down by a team of 4-6 people in about 15-20 minutes. Takes 4 people to pull on the ropes to get the Sling into the Air.
We were slinging Pumpkins about the size of a Human Head, weighing about 2-3 kilos about 150 yards.
Hope this info Helps, the Unit is insured for $10,000. Cheers Roadie.

Mark,

Thank you for a good selection of photos that show an overview of the event. I liked the ones showing the operating cycle of the Perrier.
