A great Free Camp spot!

I thought I would post a few photos of the Bollon free camping ground on the banks of Wallam Creek. We stayed a couple of nights there on our trip at Easter. Our granddaughters had a great time seeing the wildlife in the area. Us adults enjoyed the country hospitality and meeting some of the Ol' Locals and having a yarn. A very friendly place and the community provide toilets and free hot showers that are only about a 500 metre walk from where you camp. It is a great way to get travellers to stop and spend some dollars in the local businesses.

A great spot to camp under the gums. You just have to choose your site carefully so you aren't under some rather large dead limbs.

The girls looking on in anticipation of some lobbies but I think the area has been pretty much lobbied out.

I liked the shape and patterns in the leaves of this tree. It may be a type of Kurrajong.

that looks a great spot Jeff, and what a feast roast lamb topped off with damper and syrup! Neat looking leaves as you said on that tree.I'm having very slow time seeing the shots as I think I used our limit after viewing that 1 hour utube video on mongolian archery tournament.

Thanks again fellas. Yeah gazza a great spot indeed. Nev and Craig, I agree with you you 100%. It's a shame a lot more kids don't get to enjoy the same.
