These first photos are a few I took of our camp oven cook up.

Later that night when we were sitting around the camp fire I took this shot. It was a 30 second exposure. The Mulga tree is softly illuminated from the glow of the campfire. The Southern Cross can be seen just to the top left of it.

I have posted a photo of this old wagon on a previous trip but I couldn't resist taking another photo this time round. :biggrin:

I like old camp ovens and I found a few lids and a base while having a look around and grabbed a few photos of them.

Well that's about it from me I think. I hope you enjoy having a look through them.

Brilliant Jeff. Not as good as actually being there in person but the next best thing! Thanks!

This just makes me want to get back to the arid country! I really like that night shot, too.
It's the great, big, broad land 'way up yonder,
It's the forests where silence has lease;
It's the beauty that thrills me with wonder,
It's the stillness that fills me with peace.

Shooters get to 50m to shoot, but only a hunter gets inside 20m to hunt.
