Hunting Camp Pictures...

#1 Post by Guy Layton » Wed Feb 15, 2012 6:38 pm

Hi guys,

I must say that some of my most fondest memories hunting is the time spent while at camp... I love looking at these photos and they usually always end up as my screen savers... 8)

I thought I would start the ball rolling with a few of my hunting camp sites...

Please feel free to post some of your hunting camp sites too.... I would love to see them...!

Cheers Guy...

Totally agree mate. It's the same for the road trip , sometimes the fun is in the getting there talking about what game will be around, how many, plans of attack and camps by the road. great photos guy. the itch to get away has just turned into a rash

Great photos Guy, I like the fact that with a photo it takes straight back to that moment and everything surounding it. You can never take enough photos.

Cheers.

Great pickies Guy

What a great way to remind us of the other side of the hunt we appreciate the most, have you got any pickies from the camp fire chat later at night?

guy- it's a hilleberg soulo.
i would recommend it in a heartbeat. very sturdy and well designed and made. we went through a hell of a wind and rain storm one night. thought we were going to get blown off the mountain. no damage what so ever.

There are some bloody nice camp pictures guys...

Isn’t it amazing how we can have all these different setups, from backpacking, traveling by car, quads, hot weather, cold weather, raining......

And the one thing that is always constant...

The camp fire...! 8)

Here are a few more....

Cheers Guy

I think they were called banana chairs, Guy. When I was a kid they were around every pool and on many verandahs. I found that one not far from camp and put him to use. Not much good for sitting on as the back rest mechanism was broken, but it was good for laying a longbow and a quiver of arras on.

Hey Matt, what brand of tent is that teepee looking one with the chimney? Looks the goods for winter fox hunting!
