Morning All.

If you are interested in photography you may find this interesting. Even though it is done by Canon it equally applies to all brands of cameras.

If you enjoyed that there is a stack of videos by Canon online - http://www.youtube.com/user/CanonAustra ... tJ08oi403Y

I've heard about that before but have never tried it myself.

Hi Jeff.

It works. You can even buy adapters to mount lenses in the reversed position.

Thanks mate there is so much to learn when heading into a new area of an old hobbie.I used to do more photography but got out of it a bit with all the other things that life seems to put in the way but have really decided to get into the macro this time. One of the reasons for not exploring this more in the past was cost(or the miss conception that it was dear.)Since finding the macro photo forum I was blown away with the results guys can get with a set of cheap tubes and a adap. to reverse the lense. All up not even 50 bucks and out standing results.I am working on assembling the kit now and am only waiting on the adap ring and I will have it all to get started.Cant wait....
Cheers KIM

Hi Kim, et al.

Another thing to remember are close up filters.

I have a set which fit some Canon Lenses I have. They are a great alternative for many people - very usful if you do not have an SLR with interchangeable lenses..
