New Canon

#1 Post by kimall » Sat Dec 10, 2011 4:03 pm

Got the new camera this week and am VERY happy with it.I have not had a chance to do much but on the way to the shed this morning there was a little lizard(about 30mm) so I clicked a couple of pics off hand held to give it a try.
This is with the kit lense that came with it 18-55..Nothing special I know but shows the potensial.
Cheers KIM

Looks great mate. Bang on focus. What model Canon are you using?

Thanks yes the focus seems about right I had it in manual focus mode.It is a 550D and I love it already it is great to have a camera that takes the pic WHEN YOU WANT it to not a few seconds later.I had a smaller Pansonic Lumix which also took great pics but upgraded it to the FZ 30 from the same maker and never took a pic I was totally happy with after that.I have also bought a remote shutter release a new tripod and the extension tubes now for a flash unit for it.

Top pics Kim, the 550D is a great bit of kit. I like how it has high capabilities with a user friendly platform, enjoy the new toy.

Cheers.
