Hey, I'm still in primary school! :biggrin:

Seriously, I might just have a talk to some kids, and get them to have a go here.
It's the great, big, broad land 'way up yonder,
It's the forests where silence has lease;
It's the beauty that thrills me with wonder,
It's the stillness that fills me with peace.

Hey, nice bow, nice goat! Well-done on the photo, Josiah!
It's the great, big, broad land 'way up yonder,
It's the forests where silence has lease;
It's the beauty that thrills me with wonder,
It's the stillness that fills me with peace.

Hey guys my name is Lilly im using my dads sign in for the photo comp.
The photo is of my archery gear, it was taken under the house with dads camera.
The arrows were made by me, and the bow was made by Rod. B and is a 'GRINGA'.
The quiver was an old hand-me-down which i pulled apart and made my own.
I was aiming for it to look like an america indian style quiver, with the leather being american alke hide.
Hope you guys like the pics...

Cheers Lilly Longbow

Gee, those two lads - Sam and Josiah - have great taste in bows!
It's the great, big, broad land 'way up yonder,
It's the forests where silence has lease;
It's the beauty that thrills me with wonder,
It's the stillness that fills me with peace.

As we sat around this afternoon playing Cleudo - because of the storm, which had us trapped indoors - I reminded my boys (Jakob and Josef) that today was the last day of the photo comp. As I was cleaning the kitchen after tea, Jake grabbed the little point and shoot Panasonic Lumix and disappeared with his brother into the garage - they reappeared with Jo dressed in my hunting gear and carrying an assortment of my bits and pieces. So I left them to it for a while...

I've just given Jake a "crash course" in photo editing and he's used Microsoft Office 2010 to crop and adjust the colour. He's made some interesting "colour choices" but he likes what he's done... :biggrin:
