Love seeing these old photos mate. You certainly are looking pretty chuffed with yourself in that Belcher Union Jack photo. :lol:

Hey, that'd be hard stalking in the country in that last photo - great shot though!!! :biggrin:

That bottom photo with the sparse' terrain ... its actually a plateau that is about 3 kms across ... atop some great goat and pig scrub .
I took that photo just ten minutes after finishing a three chase and stalk on 4 or 5 40" plus billies whom then ran into 2 large mobs of nannies and then head butting their way into a bit of the ol' "nookie" with some young nannies they all stampeded straight past me , or should i say over the top of me ... then they came back after about 2 minutes straight back past me . Just bizarre !

You would never know that from the photo.

So where is the photo of you and the 40" plus billy? :biggrin:

Good stuff, Ben!
It's the great, big, broad land 'way up yonder,
It's the forests where silence has lease;
It's the beauty that thrills me with wonder,
It's the stillness that fills me with peace.

Jeff , conservationist that I am , I decided to let it grow bigger for the next hunter ... after having it at less than 5 metres twice [ yep twice at 5 metres ] ...

Nice guy ain't I !

Even wieder things have happened at that property ... like the huge water twister that blew in off a tank , landing on me and getting me soaked ... not to mention that the property is an hour out of Cobar and I ended up putting a stalk, then got stalked by a camel .....

That property must be quite a phenomenon! :biggrin:

Well I have been trying my whole Bowhunting life to bag a 40" plus goat and have failed so far; so Benny my connservation mate I'd gladly be that next hunter then. :mrgreen: :lol:
