Spring
Morning All.
Whilst it may be cool in some parts of the country Spring is definitely on its' way in Qld. Went to a Meeting and the photo taking before the meeting was the most interesting part. The trouble with bees is the keep on moving about.
I am still impressed by my new 17-70.
Long Telephoto lens - now if I save my Pennies I will someday get a telephoto that is long and big. Meanwhile I live with high ISO and long exposures.

Re: Spring
Looks like you have been out enjoying yourself taking some nice photos along the way. I showed the boys a wild bee hive I knew about in a tree out at Cunnamulla last week and was going to take a few photos but the bees objected and we had to make a run for it - thankfully I only got one sting - they didn't mind last time.

Re: Spring
Hi Jeff.
I work very hard when near Bees to move slowly and quietly. Remember to ignore the buzzing sound. Sometimes it can just as much fun "Hunting with a Camera".
It was probably the noise. You could have smoked them first.Stickbow Hunter wrote:Looks like you have been out enjoying yourself taking some nice photos along the way. We would have smoked them, Grahame, but I ran out of Tally Ho papers before Jeff revealed them!GrahameA wrote: . You could have smoked them first.
Seems like making a run for it from wild beasts was the in thing for you last week, Jeff!
Lately, if life were treating me any better, I'd be suspicious of it's motives!

Re: Spring
Yeah Grahame that could have been it but we took photos of the hive last time and got close to do so without any problems but there wasn't a hope this time.
