went for a walk this morning armed with just the camera ( and i later found out some almost flat batteries).
just took a few pics in my back yard .i spooked 2 critters 15 minutes apart that i never even got a look at ,dont know what they were ,but they were not roo's they were running not hopping .they'll keep.
last pic is looking over the fence at the place i shot for 25 years until a mining company bought it , now its a no go zone . very sad about that, i walked every inch of that block whistled up hundreds of foxes in there over the years . and before the virus it was a great block for bunny's too.

Some nice shots, and a pleasant way to spend some time.
It's the great, big, broad land 'way up yonder,
It's the forests where silence has lease;
It's the beauty that thrills me with wonder,
It's the stillness that fills me with peace.

A nice back yard mate!!! What do you think the critters might have been that you didn't get a look at; pigs, deer?

i think could of been either although i lean towards deer cos they never made a sound bar running footsteps pigs normally give a bit of a grunt or some thing i do have the odd lone deer come in from time to time .
could of been a goat but i dont think so aint seen any for a long time .if i had to lay a bet on it i would say deer .
we get fallow mostly and i saw one last year that i thought looked more like a rusa , but have only seen it the once .
there are suppose to be chital around here to but i have yet to spot one .

Thanks Johno I thought it may have been a deer. It wouldn't be bad having mob setting up camp on your block. :D

not unusual to see a mob of 50 or more just as we leave town of a night time in the winter .
they feed out front of the golf club where the grass has been slashed .
i must try and get a picture of em one night .
