Fish Eating Magpie

#1 Post by GrahameA » Sat Dec 18, 2010 8:37 am

Morning All.

I never realised that Magpies ate fish. It appears that the Magpies of Noosa enjoy a different diet.

I would normally clean the photos up a bit however, I am working off a laptop which does not have my usual software on it.

Looks like your putting the new lens to work Grahame. :D

I don't like Magpies as they attack my finches. :x

Hi All.

Daryl – that would be the sub-species “Fish Eating”. Perhaps I should have written a “Fish Eating” Magpie eating a fish. :D

Jeff – great lens, just need to spend more time using it. At the moment the best phot-taking time coincides with the best fishing time and the fishing is winning.

Kim – Greybeard is just jealous. He missed this morning’s run-in tide and my Diamond Trevally. He also did not get to see my Bream capture on a popper. Spectacular surface strike. Be jealous all of you.
