#1 Post by TEX » Tue Oct 14, 2008 11:36 am

Hey all.
Could somebody help me with making me a bow string.
It needs to be 58.75" loop to loop. Fastflight material and endless construction.
My bow is 55#

Tex, consider a flemish string, I shoot flemish twist string on recurves and longbows and prefer then anyday to an endless string. A flemish string is much less trouble and just twist them up and down for brace height, can't get simpler than that...Glenn...

was about to say is there any real advantage to endless loop strings?
There's no adventure in knowing where you are.

The Man who made the limbs said that I am best off getting Fastflight material and endless construction. So That is what I must do.

Less stretch in an endless loop string IMO, last a bit longer due to the serving in the ends approximatly 12months/10000 shots replacing the centre serving as it needs it. Steve

Can't help regarding the endless string but if it was me I would be using a Flemish Twist string as has already been suggested.
