Brass tubing for hobbyist might do the job. Thin walled and in various diameters. Here is one link: https://www.hobbytools.com.au/metal-tube-round/
Plenty on ebay too.
I am wondering if you might be able to braze brass to steel? Would be stronger than epoxy.
