Hi Jim,

The obvious question to ask is how was the bow stored and for how long.

Can you post a few photos of the bow taken at different angles to highlight the twist, it may give us a better idea as to what may have caused the problem.

Jim, with the bow unstrung can you run a string line or straight edge down the centre of the back of the bow to see if the limbs are true.

Can the limb tips be moved sideways when the bow is unstrung?

Jim,

Can you see any twist in the limb? if not the only other area to check is the hinge. Have any of the screws holding the hinge to the limb worked loose?

The limb dosnt look twisted if it was a self bow I would say that on the bottom limb the shelf side is stronger and pulling the limb around if that makes sence

Jim,

Without physically seeing the bow I have run out of options. Perhaps it may have to become a wall decoration.

Jim, is it possible it was always like this and you just never noticed?

Further to what Daryl has suggested; if it seems to be just the bottom limb that is angled to one side, that points to the connection of the two halves being the problem to me. Perhaps check the surfaces that mate against each other when they are connected together. Maybe a very small amount of packing may align the bottom limb again. If it did you could possibly get the surfaces redone as a more permanent fix to the problem. This is just a suggestion as it is hard to tell from just photos.

Jim,

The surfaces I meant were the two ends of the riser that touch together once the bow is connected together. I'm not sure if that came across clearly in my post above.
