Some more silly arrows from me...

#1 Post by AndyF » Mon Jun 03, 2013 11:29 am

For anyone interested in such things, here's my latest set of arrows. The crest and splicing in the fletches is my initials 'AF' converted to a barcode. 23 splices and very tedious if you wish to know. Other than that they're all within 1lb in spine (55-56) and just 0.6 grains (519.5 - 520.1) would you believe. So, they should be good enough for bashing around The Gathering this coming weekend. :)

Very nice but I hope you are bringing some to smash on some hard targets. Don't want those used there is to much work in them.

Cool and very different Andy.

Does the cresting also spell A.F?
Common sense; so rare it should be considered a superpower.

Andy I cant fault your work, but you really have too much time on your hands.

Just make sure you shoot first this week end so I have something bright to aim at in the middle of the target

For Andy D,

Yes, both the splicing and the cresting spell AF. I found a barcode converter on Google. It's essentially the numbers one and six (A and F).

So there you go. Won't be doing something like that for a while. Thinking of basing the design of my next set around liquorice allsorts. I want to make an obviously 'matching' set where no two arrows are actually the same. Just to mess with the equipment judges at FITA Field shoots.

A
