PNG Walnut/ Hairy oak bow.
One of my latest. Bit different in the grip to my others as I inadvertently scalloped a fair bit out with my spindle sander making quite a pronounced 'dish' in the riser. the upshot is its very comfortable in the hand. Riser is PNG Walnut and accent Hairy oak with black wattle belly veneers. It seems a little bland to me but when the sun hits the veneers it comes up ok. Its 53# at 28'' and 68NTN.

Thank you Roadie Stewart and Steve. It is actually a very smooth shooter, and was pleased with the weight The recipient wanted 50# - 55# and it came in at 53#

Re: PNG Walnut/ Hairy oak bow.
Thanks fellas. One thing I noticed is that it has just a tad more string follow than any of my previous bows after being strung for a while, although it straightens back after a while when unstrung. I put this down to the .040 glass being at the limit of Glass v wood stack ratio. It however is very smooth and quiet to shoot.
