Another must read for those interested in Archery and its history.

This book, or should I say tome, is a massive piece of work. Covering Archery from its earlist form through to the time of its printing, 1972.

I have seen two versions of the work. Version 1 is in large coffee table format and version 2 is in a smaller format. If at all possible read the larger format.

The book was written before the raising of Mary Rose and thus the comments referring to the number of English Longbows in existence is wrong.

This also is a highly recommended read if you are interested in Archery and its rich history.

Thanks Grahame, and I agree 100%, a fantastic book :)

I was so very lucky to pick up a large format copy in a country bookstore a few years back; a prize posession!
