#1 Post by ichiban » Sun Nov 15, 2009 6:37 am

i know gery beard did an awsome job of a boo backed boo horsebow, but i got to thinking, would it work if the back was hickory and the bely as of vertcal grain boo?? im not thinking about the tip touching reflex horse bows more along the shape of a samick SKB?? but possibly with sayahs? tell me what you think, should i try or is it a lost cause? on the one hand they here made of sinew and horn for a reason but on the other come on how cool would it be

Have a go. Whatever happens you will learn something.

Ichi, I would be having a go anyway. I think I have learnt more from the bows that didn't work than the ones that did at times. I cant see why what you are wanting to do would not work....Glenn....

Ichi,

I am with Glenn and Grahame on this one. Have a go and see what happens and . . . WATCH WHAT HAPPENS.
