nice pics erron, that pic of the tip is exactly what i was trying to describe with my bow (also made by gilnockie).
shows up the many veneers really well. your camera must have a fairly short minimum focal length? or were you using a macro lens?

it gets as close as about 1 - 1.5 inches, and yes I used the macro setting. Lovely little camera, all round.

yeah, i need a digital camera. one day i will get that $3000 digital slr d10 i have been dreaming about. but for now i will continue burning film.
