Dear Jape

I don't wish to divulge that information regarding my undies, Thank you very much.

I wouldn't say that I have a great set of marbles rattling around my head but I always try to improvise.

Thanks about the cresting. As for the feathers they are black. Sorry about the photos they do look grey.
You might laugh but I only had white feathers and I used some black spray paint. Seems to work but I would say it will wear off under use.

Grey feathers would look great, I should look into it.

Ok I don't wear rabbit skin undies but I like the sound of them, These goat skin ones get a bit itchy especially when the weather heats up.

Ok here is number two.
I don't think it looks as good as the first but it's OK.
I think Carol Shelby would like it. The Cobra look.

The arrow is slightly darker than the photo.
But that was the only blue I had. I suppose I could have mixed the colours like the first one.
Thanks for your input.

Well I shot both arrows at 10 meters and was pleased with the way they flew.
Tonight I shall try them at 20 and see what the results are.

Yes some of those rabbits can be a little evil.
No it needs to be robust to handle the arrows so I may as well have made it look the part.

well, here's about as fancy an arrow as i can make considering i have no fletching gear with me at the moment...

All I had was one nock i taxed off an old arrow. The feather I found in the bottom of my bow case.
The only tools I had at my disposal were a pair sewing scissors, a stanley knife, a tube of half dried up super glue and some boot polish.

I made a dunny brush style flu flu just because I know pappy rastus doesn't like them. :P

cheers

It wouldn't even make a good one of those either.

thanks mate. when it comes to using what you have, everyone knows i'm the best 'cause I got nuthin'!

seriously, i'd never have thought to use diluted boot polish as a stain before. It kinda looks like a red cedar colour in person. Not bad for brown KIWI polish and a little oil base paint thinner!! :D
