Primitive Goodies

#1 Post by anarcher » Mon Nov 10, 2003 2:01 am

I'm intrested in the primitive raw matierials that you folks have on the island continent.

I just love to gather and use primitive goods. I use saltcedar shoots for shafts, wild turkey feathers, sinew from deer and antelope. Anything that I can find localy is what I use.
Do y'all have any bamboo that you can use for shafts? They work great and are very forgiving of spine

The photo is me drawing a 51" plains style bow.
