Ozbow

These are very fast bows, with little or no hand/wrist shock. IMO, they are everything Grozer advertised they are.

WOW , your bow sounds like a gun going off. Are they normally this loud ? Maylands didnt seem noisy , but the sound was a bit funny on the vid.

It didn't seem that loud when we were shooting them. They arrows do make a very satisfying thwack when they hit the target. The target was 18m away.

Apart from that the new design hunnish bows are extremely quick and very accurate in the right hands. This is a definite improvement to his previous designs.

Excuse my poor archery form; I had some problems with the release and dropping bow arm in the video.

Looking forward to taking it out again next weekend and comparing it to the avarian.

It was definitely the bow I was hearing , not the arrows hitting the target .

Interesting...it could be the sound of the arrow against the horn plated handle as it leaves the bow. The indoor range echoes a lot so the sound could have been magnified.

I am re upping the video of Mayland shooting.

The 'gunshot' sound is the arrow clearing the horn riser.

there was a fair bit of some background "buzzing" sound in the first vid. - would be good to see without that

do you guys just shoot of the hand? - no leather in the sight window?

the buzzing sounds went away when i played it the second time..

these bows look good n sound sweet ..

Yep, the arrows are shot off the hand. I wear a small leather glove on the bow hand to protect my hand from getting cut. On my icon you can see a small brown glove that covers the index finger, first knuckle and thumb. The bows do not have a sight window.

OK ,, is there a way to quieten it down ? Maybe some different spine arrows ?

Surely something must be copping a lot of stress sounding like that .

They weren't that loud when shooting outdoors. I think the enclosed area amplified the sound a great deal.

I didnt' think it was to loud given the fact it was hitting bare bone but nothing that couldn't be fixed easily.
