Hi all
I have found someone who owns a small turkey farm here in UK and they would be willing to give me the wing feathers from their 12 turkeys in December.
They will give me right and left wing feathers in seperate bags which is great and I was wondering if there was any articles here on how I finish them from the full feather to fletch ready?
Cheers
Jase

Jase,
Not sure if there has been any deatailed threads dealing with how to split and grind your own feather on Ozbow. Do a search on Trad Gang as there are numerous threads relating to this subject. Here is one with some detailed photos that may help you.

Apparently if they are OK I can get hold of them twice a year. Once when they molt (sp?) and once when they're slaughtered. They are even putting them in left and right bags for me!
