New Years Arrows

#1 Post by woodie » Sun Jan 22, 2017 4:51 pm

I have just finished a dozen arrows to replenish all I broke last year.
I bought 12 9mm by 1.8m long hoop pine dowels for Masters before they closed. I made a barrelling jig years ago for a mate to use, instead of me making his arrows, so I set it to taper the front 11/32" up to 23/64" 3" long and the back end 5/16" up to 23/64". All spined from 57# to 65#.
So I am allowing 1 broken arrow per month. Knowing the range captain at HVTA I will loose or brake them on the first shoot. That would be fine I always say "You are not having a good day if you don't brake or loose 1 arrow a shoot"

Hay that's not nice, I don't always miss. I always hit what I aim at, trees rocks the water. It's all good.
