Some more bow porn

The other week I posted pics of my newer bow and setup for hunting this summer - well here's the other one I'll be running.
Will most likely use this one first as it's the one I've been shooting every afternoon lately.

It is also a Toelke Whip - this one is a one-piece - 46lb@30" 62" long
woods are ebony and purple heart in the riser and bamboo limbs with zebrawood veneer's.

The arrows I'm using with this one are a little less extreme than what the 2-peice whip is running but I am confident they'll perform well on the critters.
They are Blackhawk carbons with a 50gr brass insert, 100gr steel adaptor and single0 bevelled 100gr tusker spirit up front. I am running 200gr SGT (small game thumper) blunts for stumping and bunnies. Total arrow weight is 525gr and 21% FOC

I also have 4 cedar shafts to get rid of with 125gr ribtechs on the front - 530gr

nice bit of kit there mate ,you'll have to come along to a shoot at the Stanthorpe range one weekend, there's a few tradgics here.

I might be there Sunday actually mate - chasing goats saturday. :Bow

a mate of mine from Ballandeen had a shoot there the other weekend and is getting right into his new recurve lately. :biggrin:

She's a beaut mate - absolutely love the toelke whips. Just a brilliance bow all round - design, craftsmanship, generally beautiful woods and great performers too.


Hope it wasn't "too exciting". :lol:
