Hickory staves.

#1 Post by bigbob » Thu Jan 22, 2015 7:26 pm

For all the self bow or all wood addicts, John Mc Danald has got in some Hickory staves which can be Z or w spliced to utilise. They are roughly 37'' long by about 2'' x 1x 1 1/8'' and look to be fairly straight grain. Don't know when i can get at mine but it is a project for a later date.Sure to be of interest to some.

Hopefully John will bring some to the Wisemans Trad Shoot.
