It no doubt would Daryl, but don't know when I will find the time to do another one as I am kept fairly busy with the imitation glass ones!

Hey Bob great for making dust and bows!! can you hook up some sort of dust collection funnel device to save the lungs.

I used to get some wicked chest infections when doing a lot of knife making (Steel and wood)

Will have to put my Bow order in soon.

Cheers

Swami

yo Swami! yep got couple dust collectors but the big main one I have never used. It's a Carbatec think it's about 1 1/2HP but it makes so much noise I've never used it at all. Neighbors and all that. Feel free to make an order!

Tried it out yesterday Rod, and boy does it remove wood quickly! Very happy.

Yeah, that's a nice machine Bob. I think I'll put one of those on my want list. Can I ask how much it cost you?

Normally over $1180, reduced to $807. Just been grinding fades on end drum, absolutely magic! Having an oscillating stroke is a big bonus.

Hey Bob, I had been eye balling Carbatec's website and was thinking about getting one also, but I picked up a similar belt sander 8 days ago of gumtree for $450, although mine doesn't oscillate. Couldn't pass it up at that price. Just need a new belt as it got damaged when I transported it. Bloody heavy

What grit belt are you running? I was going to try a 60 grit to start with.

I saw that one Muzz and was tempted but bit wary of dealing with Gumtree as too many scammers use that site. Glad yours worked out well It's got an 80 on it at the moment but might put the 100 on it as it really removes wood ---fast.I can believe heavy , after I assembled mine with little or no help from booklet i saw four rubber blocks and wondered what they were for. Turns out they go under the stand as rubber feet. Won't be going on any time soon! Wouldn't like to tip this big boy over to mount them!
