Yes Rod it starts out with a lot of preload but not excessive and just keeps getting smoother at least out to 30''. i will have to redo the f/d graph when I get a spare moment as the SE/ PDF gave a ratio of better than 100%!!! as in 51.25 peak draw at 28'' and PDF of 53#. Also need to do chrono tests so I can establish KE etc. Hardgainer I like the purple heart too, but allied with the Charcoal actionwood it is a reasonably heavy riser, which to a lot of people is desirable re stability etc.
