John McDonald(JCM) sells a German Pine that sells at a good price and seems popular. Worth a try.

I bought some , a dozen or two can't remember exactly of european spruce shafts from John Mc and I really like them.
They were spined at approx 67# i put 145gr points on them and they really well out of both my 45# and 50# recurves.
Shot them constantly over 5 days at Wisemans Ferry in March and the only issue i have is the half dozen that i lost!
Shooter fault not the arrows.
Cheers
