It was only a matter of time, the girls get Gringas

#1 Post by Nutgrass » Mon Apr 21, 2014 7:04 pm

Well as the title states, it was only a matter of time before the girls requested a Gringa bow. So with some sneaky work I squezed out of them what they wanted with out them knowing & set Rod in motion.
After a false start with the timber colour, we were soon on the right track & the bows were coming together.
To say the girls are happy is an understatement & I am very surprised at the performance of the bows given their light draw weights.

Can you guess what their favorite colours are ? So matching timber in their bows for Mum & Daughter were in order.

Amanda wanted a long bow, so I talked rod into a Deflex reflex.

Shooters get to 50m to shoot, but only a hunter gets inside 20m to hunt.

Morning Rod.

The more bows you build the nicer they look.

Looks like a couple of pretty recurves there. I hope the girls enjoy shooting them.
